About
Yunggudja, meaning “Giving and Receiving”, is an Aboriginal-owned and managed organisation dedicated to providing culturally appropriate support and mentoring services for individuals with or without disabilities. Our commitment is to foster a safe, respectful, and empowering environment where clients can thrive.

Derek Newchurch
Director
Yunggudja is led by Derek Newchurch, a proud Narungga (traditionally spelled Nharangga) man from the York Peninsula with over a decade of experience in youth work and complex disability supports. Derek has developed and managed various culturally appropriate programs, focusing on cultural identity, health and fitness, independent living, and leading excursion camps around the Adelaide region.

Judith Paulley
Director
Joining Derek is Judith Paulley, an accomplished Aboriginal woman from the Yankuntjatjara mob. Judith has extensive experience in youth work, case management, financial counselling, and running cultural programs.
